SELC in Alabama

Among its many natural treasures, Alabama is best known for its world renowned aquatic biodiversity. Many of the species found in our rivers and streams occur no where else in the world. But Alabama's waterways are now in danger. The state has lost more species to extinction - most of which were aquatic - than any other state in the mainland U.S.

SELC has a history of success in protecting Alabama's environment. Our Alabama conservation team includes five attorneys focusing all or part of their time on the conservation needs of this state. SELC serves Alabama from our Alabama/Georgia office in Atlanta, GA.
